The Ethical Use of Paralegals

Attorneys are increasing their use of paralegals to effectively deliver high quality representation to their client. To that end, it is becoming increasingly important to paralegals to understand the ethical guidelines for the utilization of their sought after skills. Ms. Phillips will recap the ABA guidelines (Model Guidelines for the Utilization of Paralegal Services), as well as the corresponding NY Rule of Professional Conduct.
Ms. Phillips recently spoke at the recent ESAPA conference in Syracuse and her interactive, spirited presentation was well received.
